KTEG wins Hessian State Energy Award 2022

We were honored with the 2nd place of the Hessian State Award' Energy 2022 of the Hessian Ministry of Economics in the category Mobility. Out of more than 70 submissions, Ms. Susanne Ruth, head of the ministry, awarded the KTEG Powertree - a mobile fast charging station with CCS2 interface that efficiently charges battery-electric-powered construction machinery, electric vehicles and machines.

"The Powertree solves a concrete problem on modern construction sites: In many places there is no fast-charging infrastructure available for e-excavators, so that their use is restricted by long charging times. The Powertree, as a transportable 10-foot container, solves exactly that and makes it possible to charge machines within usual break times without having to call in electricians for the installation. I am very pleased that the jury honored the mobile fast-charging station as an important building block on the way to an emission-free construction site." summarizes Harald Thum, Managing Director of KTEG GmbH. Our engineers developed the high-end technology with charging and fast-charging connections together with Deutz AG.
